E85 is a new fuel made up of 85% ethanol and only 15% gasoline. Ethanol in E85 comes from U.S.-grown corn and helps reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions from your car. E85 has superior performance characteristics due to its higher octane (a whopping 105 rating), yet burns cleaner and is completely renewable. Currently there are only about 600 E85 stations in the U.S., but that number is growing quickly. And all E85 compatible vehicles run on regular gasoline too, so even if you can't find an E85 station you can still keep driving...
