WHAT WE DO
Provide 2-3 SDMC singer docents who will come to your 3rd-5th grade classroom to present a 30-40 minute interactive program exploring the progression of choral music from about 1000 AD to the present day.

Our presentation is tied into current standards for education
Utilize up-to-date visual aids and a variety of choral music through live and taped demonstrations
(with a self-contained system). |

It's exciting to see the children light up with interest as they learn about choral music, many for the first time.

Encourage student participation throughout the presentation, making it fun and educational all at the same time!

The historical timeline is tied to events that are familiar to the students and challenges them to investigate further.
